Every garment is dry clean only. Take embroidered pieces to a cleaner who handles zardozi and gota patti work, and tell them the piece is hand embroidered. Store your clothes folded in a muslin cloth rather than on a hanger, since the weight of embroidery pulls at the shoulders over time. Keep them away from direct sunlight, which fades silk and dulls metallic thread. Apply perfume and jewellery before you dress, never onto the fabric. If a thread comes loose, do not pull it. Cut it close to the surface, or bring the piece back to us and we will repair it.
